Puntentelling teamprestaties

Predict which team makes it to the next round and do this for all rounds up untill the final before the start of the tournament.

Points for matches

Results can be given for every match and can be changed up untill the start hour of the match.

The results after 90 minutes or 120 will count. Penalties at the end of the match dont count.

Points will be assigned according to the following parameters:

1 team wins

1 point for picking correct winner
- 1 point for predicting correct scored goals home team.
- 1 point for predicting correct scored goals away team.
- 1 point for predicting correct result

To make sure playing safe with low scores is not rewarded too much there are extra points to be earned when the goal difference is bigger. The difference in scored goals is the maximum of extra points that can be earned. Every goal difference you have different will be detracted from the extra points to be earned.

So, predicting high score differences can be rewarded.

Example

Result is 5-1. Max 4 extra points to earn

4-0	1 point for correct winner 4 points extra for goal difference (4-0) 5 points in total
2-1	1 point for correct winner 1 point goals away team 1 point extra for goal difference (4-3) 3 points total
5-0	1 point correct winner 1 point goals away team 3 points extra for goal difference (4-1) 5 points total
5-1	1 point for correct winner 1 point goals home team 1 point goals away team 1 point for exact score 4 points extra for goal difference (4-0) 8 points total

On Tie

2 points for predicting tie
2 points for correct result

You can also gain extra points when scores are higher. For every goal difference you'll get extra points. For example Result = 3-3 => max extra points to earn = 3 points. If you predict 2-2 you are 1 goal of and that will earn you 3-1= 2 extra points.

Ranking

Individual

The ranking will be made looking at the below rules.

Points
Number of predicted matches + number of teams put into a next round.

If it's still a tie users will get assigned same position.

Teams

Teamranking exists of the average scores from all teammembers who have entered the game. A team only gets into the ranking with 5 participants or more.

A team must have a minimum of 5 riders participating to be in the team ranking. Member must be part of the team at the start of the tournament.
